May 2016, Day 8, Endo v Shohozan

Great bout between two evenly matched wrestlers – Endo has a very slight height and weight advantage over Shohozan, but they have similar body types and are both aggressive and stay active in the dohyo. Shohozan gets things started by circling and going for an outside leg trip, but he runs into a wall when Endo stops the attack at the tawara. Endo readjusts his arm position, breaking Shohozan’s belt grip in the process, and takes Shohozan out at the same spot in the ring.
