July 2016, Day 2, Myogiryu v Terunofuji

Myogiryu comes within mere centimeters of victory, bulling the much larger Ozeki Terunofuji right to the edge, where Terunofuji’s heel somehow, impossibly, doesn’t touch down in the soft dirt just outside the tawara. And then Terunofuji uses a mighty left-hand overhand grip to take control, and he shows us how to finish off an opponent at the ring’s edge. Hold the belt, set the hips, shove. With authority.
