July 2016, Day 2, Takanoiwa v Daieisho

Daieisho seems to win the tachiai, elevating Takanoiwa and moving him backwards, but Takanoiwa puts a hand in Daieisho’s face and slips around to the side, ending up with a really deep migi-yotsu grip (left hand under, right hand over). From there it’s all over but for Daieisho’s quivering calf muscles, straining to stay in the dohyo. Seriously, check out the calves on that dude. It’s like he’s smuggling coconuts in there.
