July 2016, Day 4, Goeido v Shohozan

Goeido, as usual, is having a mediocre start to the tournament. He’s already lost twice to wrestlers in the sub-Ozeki ranks, and if history has taught us anything it’s that you have to get your easy wins early before you hit the wall of Ozeki and Yokozuna later. But he looks really good today against Shohozan, staying low and centered, cutting off the ring, and leaving nowhere for Shohozan to go but out.
