July 2016, Day 6, Takanoiwa v Kagayaki

Takanoiwa throws a  hard right shoulder at the tachiai, followed by a right-handed slap to the face which leads right into a right-hand overhand belt grip. He uses the grip to swing Kagayaki all the way around to the edge, where one good shove keeps Kagayaki upright before Takanoiwa drives his right arm in for a deep underhand grip, while his left hand on the front of the belt clamps down on Kagayaki’s right arm, negating its effectiveness. Takanoiwa keeps his hips nice and low, so Kagayaki has no leverage to prevent the little lift that takes him over the edge of the tawara. Solid work by Takanoiwa.
