November 2016, Day 14, Myogiryu v Arawashi

Myogiryu is desperate for his eighth win and comes out swinging against Arawashi. Arawashi reaches for the underhand left, but misses, and settles for the underhand right after fighting through Myogiryu’s tachiai. Belt grip secure, Arawashi wastes no time in slinging Myogiryu around with a great shift of his hips and following through for the yorikiri (front force out) victory. Arawashi builds to an outstanding 10-4 record, and Myogiryu will have to wait until the final day to see if he finishes 8-7 or 7-8. Standing in his way will be Gagamaru.
