March 2017, Day 6, Takarafuji v Kisenosato

With the way Takarafuji has been stuffing his opponents this tournament, it’s interesting to see how he’ll perform against Yokozuna Kisenosato. The difference in skill level and strength is readily apparent as Kisenosato doesn’t take a single step backwards, marching steadily and inevitably towards the edge. Kisenosato stays perfect at 6-0, tied for the tournament lead with Takayasu and Tochiozan. Takarafuji picks up his first loss and falls to 5-1.
