March 2017, Day 7, Mitakeumi v Kisenosato

Mitakeumi’s having trouble with the level of competition at the top of the division. While he gets off to a good start against Kisenosato, he can’t finish the job and gives up both sides of his belt before he can push out the new Yokozuna. That’s the beginning of the end and lets Kisenosato take control of the bout, walking Mitakeumi the length of the dohyo and out the other side. Kisenosato stays tied for the lead with Sekiwake Takayasu, both men perfect at 7-0.
