March 2017, Day 9, Endo v Okinoumi

Endo latches onto the front of Okinoumi’s belt with a right-handed overarm grip like a starving wolf on a beef shank and does not let go. He pulls Okinoumi’s hips close and tight, in total control of the taller wrestler’s center of gravity. With Endo’s left arm high underneath Okinoumi’s right armpit, Okinoumi has no chance at a belt grip and no purchase on Endo’s body. He catches the tawara with the tippy-toes of one foot, but it’s not enough to keep him in the ring. Endo improves to 6-3, Okinoumi hangs in there at 5-4.
