March 2017, Day 13, Yoshikaze v Takayasu

After winning the first ten days of the tournament in a row and seriously contending for the championship, Takayasu has now lost three straight. Yoshikaze is never a pushover, and he finds some extra juice to fight back after Takayasu has him moving backwards off the tachiai. A couple or three well-placed thrusts dislodge Takayasu’s hands from Yoshikaze’s upper body, and Yoshikaze puts his head down to push Takayasu off the dohyo for his eighth win.
