May 2016, Day 6, Endo v Seiro

Oh, Endo wants this one back. He locks onto a left-hand underhand grip right off the bat and uses it well to defend against Seiro for almost the entire bout. Seiro has the overhand grip on that same side, and both men spend a ton of energy fighting for the grip on the opposite side. Seiro finally gets a left-hand belt grip, and you can see Endo’s face pause as he tries to figure out how he’s going to deal with it. Endo starts to reach for Seiro’s belt with his right hand,  but Seiro instantly lets go with both hands and takes advantage of Endo’s posture and momentum, slipping out the side and pushing down the completely surprised Endo.
